Ivan L. Jubinski age 23, of 2050 Saucon Valley Road, Upper Saucon Township, (Lehigh County), formerly of RR #2 Uniondale died Monday night, January 13, 2003 from injuries suffered as a passenger in a motor vehicle accident on the grounds of the Saucon Valley Country Club in Upper Saucon Twp. Born November 6, 1979 in Carbondale, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Nicholas Jubinski, RR2, Uniondale and the late Kathleen Winthrop Jubinski, who died April 3, 1990. He was a 1998 graduate of the Forest City Regional High School where he was a member of the National Honor Society and inducted into Whos Who Among American High School Students. He was a May 2002 graduate of Penn State University main campus earning a bachelor of science degree in turf management. Before leaving the area he was a junior member of the Uniondale Fire Company. He was employed as a second assistant superintendent on the Weyhill course of the Saucon Valley Country Club, Upper Saucon Twp., PA. He is survived by one brother: Mark Alexander Jubinski, stationed with the Air Force at Aviano Air Force Base, Aviano Italy; Maternal Grandfather: John Winthrop of New London, CT.; his longtime companion: Felicia Boch of Harrisburg, PA. He was preceded in death by one brother: Nicholas Blaine Jubinski, who died August 31, 1984; his maternal grandmother: Margaret Winthrop; his paternal grandparents: Nicholas and Helen Egnotovich Jubinski. The funeral was held Thursday, January 16, 2003 at 1:00 pm from the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home, Farview and 41st Streets, Carbondale, with Devine Liturgy at 2:00 pm in SS. Peter Paul Russian Orthodox Church, Uniondale, celebrated by the Rev. Alexander Golubov.
