Irene Miller, 87, formerly of Carbondale, PA, died Thursday, March 24, 2022 at Allied Services Hospice, Scranton, surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Patrick Ruddy and her second husband, Eugene "Tiny" Miller. Born in Jermyn, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Goy Tereschak (Frishko). She is survived by a son: Paul Ruddy and wife, Jennifer of Jermyn, PA; a daughter: Elizabeth Fay and husband, Michael of Carbondale, PA; a sister: Elizabeth Perechinsky of Olyphant, PA; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a daughter: Patsy Ruddy Tallman; a granddaughter: Sherry Arthur; four brothers: Peter, Charles and Michael Frishko and Nick Tereschak; and two sisters: Helen Micklick and Anna Prokop. The family received friends on Sunday, April 3, 2022 from 2-4 p.m. at Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 89 Farview Street, Carbondale, PA.
