Helen P. Parks, 86, of Fairlawn, NJ, died Sunday, September 22, 2024 at Willowbrook Place, Clarks Summit, PA.

Born February 20, 1938 in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Mae Campbell Hughes.

Helen liked to visit Ocean Grove, NJ, and spend time on the beach. She cherished time with her family, especially with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In her younger years, she also enjoyed cross-country skiing with her friends.

The family would like to thank Willowbrook Place and Traditional Hospice for their kind and compassionate care of Helen during her time there, and a special thank you to Karen Fairweather for all her unwavering care and friendship through the years.

She is survived by her daughter: Barbara Lotterman and husband, Bob; son: Robert Parks and wife, Barbara; grandchildren: T.J. and wife, Christine; David; Kerri and companion, John; Lauren, Jessica and husband, Cody, Michael, Caroline; and great grandchildren: Ayden, Dylan, Leelia, Cora, Myla, Miles, Kenten, Norah, Jackson, Carson, Alison, Emerson, Eleanor, and Memphis.

She was also preceded in death by her son: Tommy Parks; and a brother: Roy McGrath.

A funeral service was held Thursday, September, 26, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. from the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 18 Airport Road, Clifford, PA, with Rev. Seth D. Wasnock, pastor of Our Lady of the Rosary Parish, Carbondale, PA, officiating.
