Helen Ann O'Brien, 85, of College Point, Queens, NY, died tragically on Monday, October 27, 2025 after a fire at her home.

Born March 10, 1940 in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late Austin Thomas O'Brien and the late Grace Ann Hoagland O'Brien. Helen was a retired employee of the United States Postal Service and was a devoted Catholic having been a member St. Fidelis Parish, College Point, NY.

She is survived by her two nieces: Kim Benjamin and husband, Bob of North Port FL., and Lisa O'Brien of Wayne, NJ; a great niece: Nicole Benjamin of North Port, FL; and several cousins.

She was also preceded in death by her brother: Kennedy O'Brien and wife, Doris.

Private interment will take place at Mount St. Mary's Cemetery, Flushing, Queens, NY.
