Obituary

Helen E. Kavetski-Gasper, age 79, formerly of Kingsley, PA. passed away Friday evening, July 2, 2004 at the Barnes-Kasson Skilled Nursing Facility, Susquehanna, PA. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Frank Kavetski, Jr. and Martin Gasper. Born February 17,1925 in Peckville, PA. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Wisniens) Sudlesky. She was a member of St. Martin of Tours Church in Jackson, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to: St. Martin of Tours Church Jackson, PA 18825 She is survived by one daughter: Patricia Brown and husband Larry of Harford, PA.; two sons: Frank Kavetski, III. and wife Sharon of Susquehanna, PA. and Ronald Kavetski and wife Helen of Kingsley, PA.; one brother: Anthony Sudlesky of Simpson, PA.; 7 Grandchildren; 2 Step Grandchildren; 10 Great Grandchildren; 3 Step Great Grandchildren; Several Nieces Nephews She was preceded in death by three brothers: Walter, Frank and John Sudlesky; four half brothers: Alex, Roman, Joseph and Julius Perkosky; one sister: Regina Cominsky The funeral was held Tuesday, July 6, 2004 at 9:15 am from the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home, Dundaff and Main Streets, Clifford, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Martin of Tours Church, Jackson, celebrated by Rev. John OBell, pastor. Interment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Greenfield Township. Friends called Monday, July 5, 2004 from 7-9 pm. Pallbearers: Grandsons-Terry Kavetski, Marty Kavetski, and Ronald Kavetski; Great Grandson-Bradley Kavetski, Son-in-Law- Larry Brown and a close friend of the family-John Whitney.
