Helen A. Corrigan, 89, of Clifford, PA, died Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at home surrounded by her family. Her husband of 67 years is William J. Corrigan. Born in Simpson, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Anna Rusinak Sereduick. She was a graduate of the Fell Township High School in Simpson. Helen was a retired seamstress who previously worked for Gentex in Simpson and retired from the Clifford Dress Factory. She enjoyed tending to her flower gardens and especially took pride in making Pysanky, Ukrainian Easter eggs. Helen's greatest joy in life was being a loving and doting grandmother She is survived by one daughter: Colleen Wellman of Clifford, PA; three grandchildren: Dustin Wellman and companion Kris Leonard of Greenfield Township, PA, Amber Allen and husband Jeremy of Mayfield, PA and Shelby Drozdick and husband Jason of Forest City, PA; six great grandchildren: Seth, Cody and Abigail Allen, Wyatt Wellman, Jason Drozdick, Jr. and Patrick Leonard; two sisters: Elizabeth Trago of Port Saint Lucy, FL and Rose Rusnak of Media, PA; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by six siblings: Michael, Walter, Stella, and Margaret Sereduick, Olga Danchak and Mary Rooney. The funeral was held Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 12:00 PM from the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 18 Airport Road, Clifford, PA, with a panachyda service by Rev. Myron Myronyuk. Entombment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Greenfield Township, PA. Pallbearers: Dustin Wellman, Jeremy Allen, Doug Szymanski and James Penzone.
