Heidi M. Heiler, age 46, of Forest City, PA. and formerly of Michigan, died Thursday night, September 23, 2010 at the Mercy Hospice Inpatient Unit, Scranton, PA. Born September 2, 1964 in Saginaw, MI., she was the daughter of the late David R. and Murva M. (Keyser) Thompson. She was a graduate of Eisenhower High School, Saginaw, MI. and earned a bachelors degree from Ferris State University, Big Rapids, MI. She currently worked at Michael's Arts Crafts, Dickson City, PA. She is survived by one daughter: Crystal Krause of Forest City, PA.; two sisters: Peggy Green of Delray Beach, FL. and Shirley Janke of Wixom, MI.; two brothers: Robert and James Thompson, both of Michigan; step mother: Bonnie Thompson of Michigan; six step brothers and step sisters; twelve nieces and nephews; twelve great nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date from the Bambi Lake Retreat and Conference Center, Roscommon, MI. Cremation took place at the Maple Hill Crematory, Archbald, PA. Arrangements were under the care of the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA. Donations can be sent to the Humane Society or to the American Cancer Society.
