Harold W. Bolcavage, age 70, of RR 1 Forest City, PA. died Saturday morning, November 6, 2004 at Mercy Hospital, Scranton, PA. His wife was the former Marie A. Sullivan, who died in 1995.
Born August 17, 1934 in Archbald, PA. He was the son of the late Joseph and Anna (Kupstas) Bolcavage.
He was a member of St. Pius X Church in Royal, PA. He was an Army veteran and a graduate of Harford High School. He was a member of the Elk Mountain VFW Post 8488, Lenox, PA. He was a self employed stone cutter for over 40 years and an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by two sons: Brian Bolcavage of Forest City, PA. and James Bolcavage of Jermyn, PA.; three brothers: Richard Bolcavage of Kirkwood, NY., Ted Bolcavage of Archbald, PA. and Raymond Bolcavage of Harford, PA.; Several Nieces Nephews
The funeral was held Tuesday, November 9, 2004 at 9:30 am from the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home, Dundaff and Main Streets, Clifford, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Pius X Church, Route 106, Royal, celebrated by Rev. Joseph Sitko, pastor. Interment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Greenfield Township, PA.
Friends called Monday, November 8, 2004 from 2-4 7-9 PM. Pallbearers: Matt Bolcavage, Ted Bolcavage, Joe Bolcavage, Alan Colosi, Richard Bond and George Hawonitz.
