Gwen L. Canfield, age 83, of Kingsley, PA., died late Sunday evening, December 11, 2005 at the Endless Mountains Health Care Center, Montrose, PA. She was the wife of the late M. Lloyd Canfield who died December 22, 1999. Born March 25, 1922 in South Gibson, PA., she was the daughter of the late John and Alice (Barlow) Davis. She attended the Elkdale Baptist Church in West Clifford, PA. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed life and her family. She enjoyed music and singing with Helen Perkins, her special friend and caregiver. Memorial contributions can be sent to the: Harford Volunteer Fire Ambulance Company or Montrose Minute Men She is survived by one daughter: Audrey Jennings of Kingsley, PA.; one son: Ronald Canfield of LeRaysville, PA.; four grandsons: Mark and wife Barbara Jennings, Carl Jennings, Todd Scott Canfield; Nieces She was preceded in death by two sisters: Rachel Westscott and Roberta Brink; one brother: David Davis A memorial service and inurnment will take place in the spring. Cremation took place at Maple Hill Crematory, Archbald, PA. Funeral arrangements were entrusted under the care of the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home, Dundaff Main Streets, Clifford, PA.
