Gregory J. McBride, 67, of Peckville, PA, and formerly of Kingsley, PA, died Friday, March 8, 2023 at home.
Born November 15, 1956 in Toms River, NJ, he was the son of the late Thomas and Virginia Elliff McBride.
For many years Greg was employed as a truck driver, a profession that he truly enjoyed and before his retirement had been a quarryman. Greg liked country music, classic car shows and traveling. His children meant the world to him. His family would say that Greg had nine lives as he survived many illnesses as well as a devastating accident over the past several years.
He is survived by two children: Caitlyn Leach and husband, Nathaniel of Union Dale, PA and Jonathon McBride of Dundaff, PA; two sisters: Susan Ogle and husband, Jim of Sarasota, FL and Colleen Griffiths and husband, Gary of Dundaff, PA; two brothers: Richard McBride of Myrtle Beach, SC and Barry McBride of Blakely, PA; two granddaughters: Catherine and Grace Leach; and several nieces and nephews.
