Gregory Krenitsky, age 53, of Simpson, PA. died unexpectedly Saturday, October 11, 2003 at home. Born September 8, 1950 in Simpson, PA. He was the son of the late Peter and Anna (Wirhonowsky) Krenitsky. He was a member of St. Basils Russian Orthodox Church, Simpson. He was a graduate of Fell High School, Simpson. He also was a graduate of Temple University, Philadelphia, PA. and State University of New York at Binghamton. He worked at Kutshers Country Club in Monticello, NY. for a number of years. He loved his dog Jake. He is survived by several aunts and uncles including: Olga Humen of Syracuse, NY., Rose and Frank Ference of Carbondale, PA. and Frank Wirhanowsky of Hacketstown, NJ.; and Several Cousins He was preceded in death by one brother: Hillary Krenitsky The funeral was held Wednesday, October 15, 2003 at 10:00 am from the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home, Inc., Farview and 41st Streets, Carbondale, with Devine Liturgy at 10:30 am in St. Basil's Russian Orthodox Church, 33 Midland Street, Simpson, celebrated by the Very Reverend David Hritcko, pastor. Interment, parish cemetery, Simpson. Friends called Tuesday, October 14, 2003 from 7-9 pm. Parastas service was held at 7:30 pm. Pallbearers: Frank Ference, Lenny Curtis, Tom Kuntz, Frank Wirhanowsky and Harry Krenitsky.
