Grace Jenny Christian, age 86, of RD 1 Forest City, PA. died early Sunday morning, May 23, 2004 at Hospice Preferred Choice At Mid Valley Hospital, Peckville, PA. She was the wife of the late Vere Christian who died in 1984. Born June 7, 1917 in Carbondale, PA. She was the daughter of the late George and Gertrude (Wedeman) Thomas. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses in Greenfield Township, PA. She was a graduate of the Benjamin Franklin High School, Carbondale. She is survived by one daughter: Diane Canfield of Waymart, PA.; one son: Lawrence Christian of Edgewater, FL.; 8 Grandchildren; Several Great Grandchildren; Nieces Nephews She was preceded in death by one sister: Marion Erickson A private graveside rememberance service was held Saturday, May 29, 2004 at 3:00 pm in the Wedeman Cemetery, Greenfield Township with services by Tim Lydon of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Greenfield Township officiating. Cremation took place from the Maple Hill at Salem Crematory, Archbald, PA.
