Glenn A. Dearie, 65, formerly of Dunmore, PA, died Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore, PA, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born April 23, 1957, he was the son of the late James D. Dearie and the late Beverly Jean Durst Dearie.

Glenn was a well-known cook in many area restaurants and also operated his own restaurant along with his mother.

He is survived by his loving daughter: Samantha Dearie and husband, Jesse Howard of Peckville, PA, with whom Glenn recently resided with; and his two grandchildren: Zah'kai Dearie-Howard and Amah'lia Dearie-Howard.

Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Edward A. Wade Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA.
