Gladys R. Ross, 81, a resident of the Country Living Personal Care Home, Nicholson, PA. and formerly of Lenoxville, PA., died Tuesday evening, April 25, 2006 at the home. She was the widow of Charles W. Ross who died in 1979.
Born December 12, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Guy Hunter and Mahala (Eggleton) Hunter-Lent.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a mental health therapist aid at Letchworth Village, Thiells, NY.
She is survived by two daughters: Ruth Ross Harvey of New Milford, PA. and Lois Ross Whitbeck of Nicholson, PA.; three sons: Charles and Jack Ross both of Nicholson, PA. and James Ross of Hop Bottom, PA.; one sister: Clara Hector of Beach Lake, PA; Several Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Great Great Grandchildren, Nieces Nephews.
She was preceded in death by one son: Bruce Ross; two grandsons: Randy Ross and Charles Howard Ross; one brother: Kingsley Hunter.
The funeral was held Saturday, April 29, 2006 at 11:00 am from the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home, Dundaff and Main Streets, Clifford, PA., with Rev. Levi Ransom, officiating. Interment, Willow View Cemetery, Clifford.
