Giovanni Scirone, age 90, of Carbondale, PA. and formerly of Brooklyn, NY., died Thursday afternoon, June 23, 2005 at the Marian Community Hospital, Carbondale. His wife was the late Paula Scirone. Born November 8, 1914 in Italy. He was the son of the late Antonio and Maria (Puleo) Scirone. He was a member of St. Mary Mother of Jesus Church in Brooklyn. He is survived by two daughters: Belmarina Todisco of Nutley, NJ. and Maria Posa of Brooklyn, NY.; one son: Anthony Scirone of Carbondale, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday, June 28, 2005 at 9:20 am in St. Mary Mother of Jesus Church, 2326 84th St., Brooklyn, NY. Interment, St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY.
