Georgette Buchinski, a former resident of the White Haven Center, White Haven, PA., died early Saturday morning, April 1, 2006 at the Allied Skilled Nursing Facility, Scranton after an illness. Born February 22, 1952 in Newark, New Jersey. She was the daughter of the late George and Mary Kashetta Buchinski. She was a loving daughter, sister and aunt. She had an infectious laugh. She enjoyed having her hair styled and nails polished. She loved music. She is survived by two sisters: Janet and Theresa Buchinski both of Carbondale, PA.; three brothers: Thomas and wife Maureen Buchinski of Cranberry Township, PA., Martin and wife Marie Buchinski of Carbondale, PA. and Lawrence and wife Lisa Buchinski of Throop, PA.; one niece: Vicki and husband Bill McElroy; three nephews: Daniel, Ryan and Michael Buchinski; one great niece: Kelsie McElroy; Several Aunts and Uncles. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Martin and Mary Buchinski; maternal grandparents: Joseph and Mary Ann Kashetta; two nephews: Joshua and Eric Buchinski. The funeral was held Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at 12:15 pm from the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home, Inc., Farview and 41st Streets, Carbondale, with Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 pm in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Hudson Street, Mayfield, PA., celebrated by Rev. John Kulavich, pastor and Rev. Joseph Russin, former pastor. Interment, Parish Cemetery, East Jermyn, PA. Friends called Tuesday, April 4, 2006 from 5 to 7 PM. Pallbearers: Martin, Lawrence, Thomas, Dennis, Daniel and Paul Buchinski.
