George J. Pulinka, Jr., 70, of Carbondale, PA, died Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale, PA, after an illness. His wife of 30 years is the former Beverly Wright, a native of Carbondale.

Born February 14, 1953 in Stowe, PA (Montgomery County), he was the son of the late George J. Pulinka, Sr. and Margaret Mann Pulinka.

He was a native of Pottstown, PA, and graduated from Pottstown High School. George and Beverly resided in Luzerne County for many years before returning to Carbondale to be near family. He was an avid Phillies and Steelers fan and liked to cook and take care of his yard. George enjoyed bowling and was active with a bowling league.

He is survived by two sons: Matthew and David; and several nieces and nephews.

As per his request, no services will be held.

Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA.
