George R. Everett, 76, of Greenfield Township, PA, died Easter Sunday, March 27, 2016 at VNA Hospice, Scranton, PA after a courageous battle with lung cancer. His wife is the former Jeannette Kiczula. Born February 19, 1940 in Cerrogordo, OK, he was the son of the late Dewis and Charlene Bates Everett. George worked in the construction and landscaping business as well as a small engine mechanic. He is survived by other family members. As per George's request, he was cremated with no services held. Arrangements were entrusted to the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Clifford, PA.
