Genevieve L. "Jenny" Jerry, 84, of Greenfield Township, PA, died Tuesday morning, February 3, 2015 at Commonwealth Hospice, Scranton. PA. She was the wife of Joseph J. Jerry, Jr. who died on August 5, 2006. Born March 12, 1930 in Old Forge, PA, she was the daughter of the late Bruno and Helen Boheneck Kresefski. Jenny was a member of St. John Vianney Parish, Royal, PA, and had a great faith and devotion to God and her church. She was a loving mother and grandmother and always had a smile on her face. She was compassionate, kind, and most happy when she was with her family. She is survived by one son: Joseph Jerry, III. and wife Catherine of Clifford Township, PA; one daughter: Roxanne Criscera and husband Paul of Greenfield Township, PA; two granddaughters: Lisa Marie and Rachelle Criscera; one sister: Celia Luszcz of Manville, NJ; one brother: Leonard Kresefski of Moscow, PA; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one daughter: Dianne Jerry; three brothers: Joseph, Raymond and John Kresefski. The funeral was held Thursday, February 5, 2015 at 9:45 a.m. from the Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Farview and 41st Streets, Carbondale, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Pius X Church, Royal, celebrated by Rev. Michael J. Kirwin, pastor. Interment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Greenfield Township, PA. Pallbearers: Nico Parga, James Conarton, Rick DeNike, Danny, Chris and Wesley Deneault.
