Gary F. Botens, 65, of Waymart, PA., died Saturday morning, February 23, 2013 at the Wayne Woodlands Manor, Waymart. Born March 4, 1947 in Honesdale, PA., he was the last surviving child of the late Donald G. and Hilda S. (Scott) Botens of Honesdale. He was employed for most of his life as a self employed truck driver and most recently worked as a fuel delivery driver for Sharkey's Fuel Service in South Canaan, PA. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed the outdoors. He is survived by his companion: Elizabeth Levrock of Waymart, PA. He was preceded in death by his brother: Robert Botens. As per his request, he was cremated and no services were held. Inurnment, Indian Orchard Cemetery, Honesdale, PA. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Clifford, PA.
