Obituary

Fred Molinaro, 60, of Clarks Summit, PA. and formerly of Carbondale, PA., died Tuesday evening at Mercy Hospital, Scranton, PA. Born August 26, 1949 in Carbondale, PA., he was the son of the late Fred and Rose (Laguzzi) Molinaro, who owned and operated Molinaro's Caf on Dundaff Street in Carbondale. He attended Benjamin Franklin High School in Carbondale and played trumpet in the school band. Prior to his disability, he had been employed by Doyle and Roth and Chamberlain Manufacturing. He is survived by one brother: Joseph Molinaro and wife Debra of Dalton, PA.; one daughter: Diane; Grandchildren; nieces and nephews. The funeral was held Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at 9:00 AM from the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Farview and 41st Streets, Carbondale, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 15 Fallbrook Street, Carbondale, celebrated by Rev. Russell Motsay, pastor. Interment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Greenfield Township, PA. Pallbearers: Jacob Poronsky, Matthew Molinaro and Michael Molinaro. Friends called Monday, February 15, 2010 from 4-7 PM.
