Frank J. Alvord, 27, of Princeton, IN and formerly of Clifford Township, PA, died tragically on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 after being stuck by a train in Princeton.

Born June 12, 1996 in Scranton, PA, he is the son of Susan Geneine Zabrowski Alvord and Frank Alvord. His step-mother is Debra Emery.

Frankie was a graduate of Mountain View High School and he enjoyed sports, gaming and fishing.

He is survived by five siblings: Devan, Dakota, Brandon and Braeden Alvord and Michael Zabrowski; his grandmother's: Patricia Zabrowski and Carol Alvord; three step-siblings: Scott Santos, Lisa Emery and David Ozack; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; and his girlfriend and their unborn child: Anna Bowman.

He was also preceded in death by his grandfather's: Edward Zabrowski and Joseph Alvord; and an uncle: Edward J. Zabrowski.

The funeral was held Monday, September 11, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. from the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 18 Airport Road, Clifford, PA, with Rev. Bonnie Resseguie, officiating. Cremation followed.

Viewing hours were held Monday, September 11, 2023 from 5-7 p.m.
