Francisco L. Gonzalez, 82, of Carbondale, PA., died Saturday morning, January 9, 2010 at the Carbondale Nursing Home, Carbondale. Born in Oriente, Cuba, he was the son of the late Jose and Concepcion Gonzalez. He was a former resident of the Washington Heights section of New York City. Prior to his retirement, he was the owner and operator of an electrical supply store in New York City. He is survived by one sister: Florencia Santos of Carbondale, PA.; one brother: Jose Gonzalez of Cuba. As per his request, no services were held. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale.
