Frances Ann DeLisa, 99, of Gibson, PA., died Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at home. She was the wife of the late Donald Reinhard and Alphonse DeLisa. Born February 21, 1918 in Wilkes-Barre, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Susan Kavetski. Frances was raised on a family dairy farm and also worked as a seamstress in the local garment industry. She worked for Fairview Cleaners, Binghamton, NY. She was a faithful member of the South New Milford Baptist Church and enjoyed her hobby of puzzles which hang on every wall in her home to display. She is survived by two sons: Albert DeLisa and wife Kim of Gibson, PA and Joseph DeLisa and wife Donna of Dorr ,MI; one daughter: Susan Turano and husband Tom of Dickson City, PA; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two great great She was preceded in death by one sister: Edna Gladd and one brother: Frank Kavetski. A memorial service was held Friday, July 28, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. from the South New Milford Baptist Church, 2967 Harford Road, New Milford, PA, with Pastor Ray Mitchell, officiating. Inurnment, Gibson Cemetery, Gibson, PA. Friends called Friday, July 28, 2017 from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. at the church. Cremation arrangements were under the care of the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Clifford, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations were made in Frances's name to the South New Milford Baptist Church, 2967 Harford Road, New Milford, Pa 18834.
