Florence Morrison age 89, formerly of Acre Lake, died Tuesday night, May 14, 2002 at the Forest City Nursing Home where she had been a resident. She was the wife of Samuel R. Morrison, who died June 3, 1992.
She was born November 20, 1912 in Philadelphia, PA. She was a member of St. Pius X Church, Royal. She was a former member of the Lenoxville Senior Citizens.
Prior to her retirement she was employed for many years by various textile manufacturing companies and also was a waitress. She also worked in the kitchen of Binghams Restaurant, Lenox.
She was a very loving and caring person. She enjoyed crocheting.
She is survived by three sons: John Morrison of Kingsley, PA., Gerald Morrison of Pottstown, PA. and Samuel R. Morrison, Jr. of Bristol, PA.; 14 Grandchildren; 6 Great Grandchildren
She was preceded in death by one son: James Morrison
The funeral was held Saturday, May 18, 2002 at 9:30 am from the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home, Dundaff and Main Streets, Clifford with mass at 10:00 am in St. Pius X Church, Rt. 106, Royal, celebrated by Rev. Joseph Sitko, pastor. Interment, Willow View Cemetery, Clifford.
