Faye L. Marcho, age 88, of Gibson, PA., went to be with the Lord Sunday evening, March 17, 2013 at Commonwealth Hospice at Regional Hospital, Scranton, PA. She was the wife of the late Mickey Marcho, who died in 1999. They were married for 56 years. Born August 10, 1924 in West Clifford, PA., she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Maude (Wells) Cook. She graduated from Harford High School. Faye was a very kind, generous, positive and loving lady. The most important thing in her life was her family, particularly her grandchildren great grandchildren. Her gift of hospitality made everyone welcome at any time. Her holiday dinners provided a table full of homemade foods prepared with much love. A poet throughout her adult life, she had just published a collection of poems as part of her legacy. She was active in Dairylea, PTA, Boy Scouts, Kingsley Civic Club, Board of Elections and the Gibson Grange. A very special thank you to Jenni Marcho and Tom Cox for all of their kindness and caring during her final days. Jenni Tom, you've earned a crown in Heaven. She is survived by three sons: Gary Marcho and wife Mary Ann of South Gibson, PA., Wayne Marcho and wife Martha of Harleysville, PA and Richard Marcho and wife Donna of Gibson, PA.; six grandchildren: Amy Marcho, Gayle Rumford and husband Don, Rachelle Bergey and husband Luke, Julie Yoder and husband Chad, Jenni Marcho Bradley Marcho and wife Michelle; twelve great grandchildren: Abagayle, Bailey and Chloee Rumford, Rachel, Heidi and Ashlyn Bergey, Grant, Blake and Kate Yoder, Racheal, Olivia and Halle Marcho; one niece and two nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother: Walter Cook. The funeral was held Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 11:00 AM from the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 18 Airport Road, Clifford, PA., with Rev. James Major and Rev. Loren Winn, officiating. Interment, Clifford Valley Cemetery, Clifford, PA. Friends called Friday, March 22, 2013, from 5-8 PM and Saturday, March 23, 2013 from 10:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home.
