Erica Leigh Baldwin, age 28, of Kingsley, PA., died Thursday afternoon, June 12, 2008 at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. Born February 20, 1980 in Carbondale, PA., she was the daughter of Scott and Deborah(Van Luvanee) Baldwin. She was a 1998 graduate of Mountain View High School, attended Penn State University and also earned her real estate license which she was very proud of and worked as an agent for All Seasons Real Estate in Lenox, PA. She formerly was employed at Elk Mountain, Circuit City in Dickson City and was most recently employed at Ole Tyme Charlies and Mohegan Sun, both in Pittston Township. She was a former Mountain View Eagles and Penn State cheerleader. She also played softball and field hockey and was a member of chorus and the band where she played saxophone percussion. She enjoyed cooking for her family, loved music, karaoke, art, reading Stephen King novels, snowboarding, but most of all, spending time with her friends. She will be dearly missed by her chihuahua Beaner and cats Rigel and Moses. She is survived by one sister: Kayla Baldwin of New Milford, PA.; half brother: Scott Baldwin, Jr. of Harford, PA.; maternal grandfather: Herbert Van Luvanee of Campbell, NY.; paternal grandfather: Paul Baldwin of Lawton, PA.; paternal grandmother: Pat (Brotzman) Baldwin of Wyalusing, PA.; Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews cousins. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother: Audrey (Miller) Van Luvanee. The funeral was held Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at 2:00 PM from the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home Cremation Services, Dundaff Main Streets, Clifford, PA., celebrated by Very Reverend Father David Mahaffey. Interment, Willow View Cemetery, Clifford. Friends called Wednesday from 11:00 AM until service time. Pallbearers: Joseph MeGivern, Greg Powers, Jeff Swingle, Danielle Van Luvanee, Bob Van Luvanee and Thomas Brozdowski.
