Eric F. Villano, 55, of Pittston Township, PA, died Thursday, November 4, 2021 at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital due to complications from Covid 19. His wife is the former Melissa R. Breault. They were married March 25, 1990. Born September 22, 1966 in New Brunswick, NJ, he is the son of Audrey Whitbeck Villano of Somerset, NJ, and the late Francis Villano. Eric worked as a truck driver most of his life for various local companies and served in the Army National Guard. He was very involved with local politics and had a love for professional boxing. He enjoyed fishing and building custom music speakers and was kind, generous and very devoted to his family. He is survived by three children: Cassandra Hotton and husband, Erik of Carbondale, PA; Tiffany Albarran and husband, Fred of Scranton, PA and Patrick Villano, at home; five grandchildren: Savannah, Charlotte and Tobias Albarran and Patrick and Laura Hotton; one sister: Amy Spiller and husband, Jeremy of Hillsborough, NJ; two brothers: Timothy Villano and wife, Elizabeth of Miami, FL and Matthew Villano and wife, Cheryl of Doylestown, PA; his best friend: Joseph Wells, Jr. of Moosic, PA and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his daughter: Faith Audrey Villano. The funeral was held Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. from the Moosic Alliance Community Church, 608 Rocky Glen Road, Moosic, PA, officiated by Rev. Arthur Harshman.
