Ellen A. Long, 70, of Vandling, PA, died Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Regional Hospital, Scranton, PA, from complications after surgery. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Lee Roy Long. Born September 21, 1950 in Englewood, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Marion Holley Leonard. Ellen was a former resident of Englewood, New Jersey and moved to Carbondale, PA, in 1987. She had been employed in the billing department at Marian Community Hospital, Carbondale, for 23 years. She was very fond of pets, especially her dog, Eddie. She is survived by one daughter: Mary Coslet-Trusky and husband, Eric of Browndale, PA; a grandson: Brian Coslet; a brother: Peter Leonard and wife, Ruth of Florida; several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a sister: Madelyn Dizadji. Private funeral services were held at the Willow View Cemetery, Clifford, PA. Arrangements were entrusted to Carmine J. & Louis C.
