Elizabeth A. Tolerico, age 82, a lifelong resident of Carbondale, PA., died Saturday morning, April 28, 2012 at the Regional Hospital of Scranton, PA. She was the wife of the late Frank A. Tolerico, who died May 15, 2009. Born March 2, 1930 in Carbondale, PA., she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Paone) Ferentine. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Carbondale. She is survived by two sons: Gerald Tolerico and wife Mary Rose of Clifford, PA. and Serafine Sar Tolerico and wife Karen of Carbondale, PA.; three granddaughters: Lisa Rovinsky and husband Peter of Waymart, PA., Taryn Tolerico and Karli Tolerico, both of Carbondale, PA.; three great grandchildren: Zachary, Mia Rose and Nohah Rovinsky; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son: Frank Tolerico, Jr.; one brother: Joseph Ferentine. The funeral was held Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at 9:00 AM from the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Farview and 41st Streets, Carbondale, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 15 Fallbrook Street, Carbondale., celebrated by Rev. John C. O'Bell, associate pastor. Interment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Greenfield Township, PA. Pallbearers: Peter Rovinsky, Zachary Rovinsky, Ermond Santanna, Francis Lagana, Joseph Cassaro, Anthony Ord, Joseph Graziano and Patrick Trichilo. Friends called Tuesday, May 1, 2012 from 4-7 PM.
