Elizabeth L. Nash, 71, of Greenfield Township, PA, died Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at home after an extended illness. Born in Camden, NJ, she was the daughter of the late George and Louise Dunn Wilkinson. Elizabeth was a former resident of New Jersey where she and her husband were partners in their real estate consulting and evaluation business. The family relocated to Newton Lake in 1991. She was a loving mother who encouraged and was actively involved in many of her children's activities when they were younger. Elizabeth was also a dedicated care giver and parent to foster children in need. She had attended Mt. Carmel Church in Carbondale and was an avid reader and enjoyed knitting; needle point and other creative hobbies. Elizabeth is survived by her husband William Nash and two children: son Patrick Nash and wife Julie of Scranton, PA: daughter Christina Nash of Philadelphia, PA; and a grandson Preston Nash. She was preceded in death by a brother: George "Buddy" Wilkinson, Jr. Friends called Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at the Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Farview and 41st Streets, Carbondale, PA. A blessing service was held at 7 p.m. by Sister Ann McLaughlin, prayer minister of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Carbondale.
