Elizabeth "Grams" Teeple McAndrew, 90, of Clifford, PA, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Regional Hospital in Scranton, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Francis "Nick" McAndrew in 2003. They were married on November 22, 1950 in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Carbondale, PA. Born on March 18, 1931 at home in Carbondale, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Theresa Derrick Teeple. Elizabeth lived most of her life in Carbondale. She was a member of St. Pius X Altar and Rosary Society, lifetime member of St. Rose of Lima Church and promoted praying the rosary and loved her family, Catholic faith and Irish heritage. The family would like to thank the staff at Regional Hospital and Traditional Home Healthcare for their loving care and friendship to our mother. She is survived by seven children: Ann McLaine and husband, William of Broadlands, VA, Joseph McAndrew and wife, Candice of Hummelstown, PA, Paul M. McAndrew and wife, Kathy of Clifford, PA, Eileen Parise and husband, Joseph of Clifford, PA, Eugene McAndrew and wife, Nicole of Greenfield Township, PA, Joan Makowski and husband, Leonard of Greenfield Township, PA, and Darlene Ford and husband, Michael of Nicholson, PA; a brother: Francis Teeple of New Jersey; 30 loving grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by brothers and sisters: Joseph, Margaret, Mary, John, Michael and James Teeple A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Rose of Lima Church, 6 N. Church Street, Carbondale, PA, celebrated by Rev. Jeffrey Walsh, pastor. Interment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Greenfield Township, PA. The family received friends Saturday morning, November 6, 2021 from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. at the church. Pallbearers were grandsons: Michael Ford, Justin Ford, John McLaine, Francis McAndrew, Paul McAndrew, Jr. and Michael Ford, IV. Honory pallbearers were granddaughters: Meghan Gannon, Kelly Fino, Dawn Kukerich, Mary Feduchak and Nicole Lumbash. Arrangements were entrusted to Edward A. Wade Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations were made to St. Rose of Lima Church, 6 N.
