Elizabeth E. Curtis, age 69, of Lake Ariel, PA. and formerly of Waymart, PA., died unexpectedly Tuesday evening, November 13, 2007 at the Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale.
Born May 18, 1938 in Carbondale, PA., she was the daughter of the late Robert and Isabel (Kardeen) Houman. She was a member of Clinton Center Baptist Church in Waymart.
She is survived by five daughters: Jean Slater of Waymart, PA., Ruth Curtis of Lake Ariel, PA., Margie Dolph of Waymart, PA., Isabel Dolph of Thornhurst, PA. and Faith Curtis of Browndale, PA.; five sons: Russell Curtis of Waymart, PA., William Curtis of Forest City, PA., Thomas Curtis of Forest City, PA., James Curtis of Carbondale, PA. and Ronald Curtis of Forest City, PA.; one brother: Robert Houman of Forest City, PA.; 23 Grandchildren; 17 Great Grandchildren; Several Nieces Nephews She was preceded in death by one granddaughter: Tiffany Curtis. The funeral was held Saturday, November 17, 2007 at 10:00 AM in the Clinton Center Baptist Church, Waymart, celebrated by Rev. Gary Gilpin, pastor. Interment, Clinton Center Baptist Cemetery, Waymart.
