Eleanor H. Rentner, 84, formerly of Browndale, PA, died Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at the Forest City Nursing Home, Forest City, PA. Born June 23, 1931 in Trenton, NJ, she was the daughter of the late William and Theresa Maybee Christensen. She was a retired LPN having worked at St. Joseph's Hospital in Carbondale, PA and also did private duty nursing. She is survived by three sons: Craig Rentner of Beacon, NY, Jeff Rentner of Falls, PA and Robert Rentner and wife Debbie of Browndale, PA; one grandson: Justin; one great grandson: Ethan. She was preceded in death by one sister: Helen Kiss As per Eleanor's request, she was cremated with private services held by her family. Cremation arrangements were under the care of the Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA.
