Elaine R. Coleman, age 68, of Carbondale, PA. and formerly of Dickson City, PA., died unexpectedly Wednesday morning, March 14, 2007 at home.
Born August 10, 1938 in Scranton, PA., she was the daughter of the late Charles, Sr. and Helen (Yescavage) Buza.
She was a member of St. Mary's Visitation Church in Dickson City but was currently attending St. Rose of Lima Church in Carbondale. She was a graduate of Dickson City Schools. She worked as a sewing machine operator for J-Fashions in Jessup, PA. for over 10 years and also Stephanie Fashions in Archbald, PA. for over 15 years.
She is survived by two daughters: Jean Marie Snook of Minoa, NY. and Eileen Kolankoski of Moscow, PA.; two sons: Gerald Coleman of Honesdale, PA. and James Coleman of Coal Township, PA.; one brother: Henry Buza of Dickson City, PA.; 9 Grandchildren; 3 Great Grandchildren; Several Nieces Nephews
She was preceded in death by three brothers: Charles, Jr., Leonard, and Joseph Buza; one niece: Deneen Marie Buza-Clark
The funeral was held Monday morning, March 19, 2007 at 9:15 AM from the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home, Inc., Farview 41st Streets, Carbondale, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Mary's Visitation Church, Dickson City. Interment, parish cemetery, Dickson City.
A private viewing was held Sunday evening, March 18, 2007 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM.
Pallbearers: Gerald Coleman, Joshua Coleman, Christopher Coleman, Joseph Skorec, Dick Marold and Richard Marold.
