Eileen M. Ward, 76, formerly of Middletwon, PA, died Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the Abington Manor, Clarks Summit, PA. Born in Harrisburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Leader Bowen. She was a loving mother and grandmother who cherished the time spent with her family. She is survived by four children: Kelly Baker of Clifford Township, PA, Mary Zimmerman and companion Timothy Brister of Union Dale, PA, John Schaffner and wife Pam of New Cumberland, PA and Scott Schaffner and wife Lori of Harrisburg, PA; two brothers: Michael and Charles Bowen both of Middletown, PA; twelve grandchildren; one great granddaughter; several nieces, nephews and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. from Seven Sorrows of Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 280 N. Race Street, Middletown, PA. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Shifer-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Clifford, PA.
