Eileen R. Butts, 67, of Susquehanna, PA, died Monday, August 27, 2018 at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore, PA, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward C. Butts, II. Born August 4, 1951 in Susquehanna, she was the daughter of the late Samuel R. and Anna Louise Weibel Butts. Eileen had worked at the Elizabeth Campus of the United Methodist Homes, Binghamton, NY, prior to her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her family and will be deeply missed. She is survived by two sons: Louis W. Butts and Robert E. Butts; four grandchildren: Kevin, Katie, Logan and Bralyn; one great grandchild: Belemay; six siblings: Jackie Wade and husband Robert, John Butts and wife Carrie, Lee Ann Hettig and husband Keith, Louis R. Butts, Chuck "Bones" Butts, Sherl Fisher and husband Terry; several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by one son: Kevin M. Butts. As per Eileen's request, the family held a private remembrance ceremony. Arrangements were entrusted to the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Clifford, PA.
