Edward Duane Wivell, age 65, of Forest, VA., died Sunday, January 30, 2005 in Virginia. Born October 9, 1939 in Carbondale, PA. He was the son of the late John Martell Wivell, Sr. and Nina Mae (Andrews) Wivell. He served in the United States Air Force and worked as a machinist for Hercules Powder Company. He loved anything that had to do with the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, target shooting and playing golf. A committal service was held Saturday, February 5, 2005 in the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home, Dundaff and Main Streets, Clifford, PA. with Rev. William Blackie, III., pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, Carbondale, officiating. Interment, Willow View Cemetery, Clifford. Funeral arrangements were conducted by the Tharp Funeral Home Crematory, Lynchburg, VA.
