Obituary

Edward B. Miller age 89, of 213 Creamery Road, Jermyn died Saturday, February 23, 2002 at Forest City Nursing Home, Forest City. His wife the former Florence E. Allen died June 22, 2000. They were married for 65 years. Born January 11, 1913 in Greenfield Township, PA. He was the son of the late Kirt E. and Lucille (Burdick) Miller. Prior to his retirement he was a self-employed plumber and electrician for most of his life. He was a life time charter member of the Clifford Township Fire Company. He was a member of the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening in his later years. He was of the Protestant Faith. He is survived by two daughters: Marilyn Smith of Old Forge, PA, Jane Domaracki of Greenfield Twp., PA; two sons: James Miller of Uniondale, PA, William Miller of Wilmington, DE; two sisters: Helen Ransom of Horsham, PA, Jean Weaver of Gloversville, NY 17 Grandchildren; 19 Great Grandchildren; 5 Great Great Grandchildren; and several nieces nephews Preceded in death by two sons: Edward Allen Miller and Allen Richard Miller; two sisters: Louise Manning and Alice Taylor; two brothers: Rollo Miller and Kirt Miller; one grandson: Michael Miller Private funeral services were held Monday, February 25, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. in the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home, 102 Dundaff Street, Clifford, PA. Interment took place Tuesday at Valley View Memorial Park, Montdale. Viewing was Monday from 1-7 p.m.
