Duane Eddy Sheare, age 44, of Scranton, PA., died unexpectedly Tuesday morning, November 13, 2007 at home. Born July 14, 1963 in Carbondale, PA., he is the son of Charles Duane Sheare of Dundaff, PA. and Sharon (Parry) Fife of Childs, PA. and step son of Paul Fife and Brenda Sheare. He was a graduate of Carbondale Area High School. He is survived by two sons: Duane Eddy Sheare, Jr. of Carbondale, PA. and Shaune Sheare of Scranton, PA.; two step brothers: Gerard Sheare of Dundaff, PA. and James Sterling of Carbondale, PA.; six step sisters: Katie Sheare of Scranton, PA., Brenda Sheare of Florida, Melody Sheare of Dundaff, PA., Amy Sheare of Dundaff, PA., Lorna Sheare of Dundaff, PA. and Kimberly Goodwin of Jessup, PA.; Several Nieces Nephews He was preceded in death by one sister: Heather Renee Sheare; one step sister: Charlene Sterling. A memorial service was held Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at 12:00 PM from the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home, Farview and 41st Streets, Carbondale, with the Rev. Dale Pepper, pastor of the Berean Baptist Church, Carbondale, officiating. Cremation took place from Maple Hill Crematory, Archbald, PA. Friends called Tuesday from 10:00 AM until service time.
