Dorothy L. Davis, 53, of Clifford Township, PA, died Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at home. Born December 22, 1962 in Carbondale, PA, she is the daughter of Gayle Whitbeck Davis of Clifford Township and the late Russell Davis. Dorothy was a 1981 graduate of Mountain View High School, Kingsley, PA and worked at Gress Poultry, Scranton, PA, Scranton Lace Company and BC Bundt Company, Taylor, PA for many years. She was a Dallas Cowboys fan and loved her cat, Molly. She is survived by eight siblings: Joyce Mason and husband Jim, Chuck Davis and wife Nancy, Roxane Casey and husband Ralph, Rodney Davis, Danita Eggleton, Linda Davis, Dolores Deacon and Pauline Davis; 20 nieces and nephews; 12 great nieces and nephews. Family and friends called Saturday, January 9, 2016 from 6-7 p.m. at the Peckville Assembly of God Church, 3364 Scranton Carbondale Highway, Blakely, PA, with a memorial service at 7:00 p.m. Inurnment, Welsh Hill Cemetery, Union Dale, PA.
