Doris L. O'Brien, 86, formerly of Lakewood, NJ and Allied Terrace, Scranton, PA, died Sunday, September 6, 2015 at the Carbondale Nursing Center, Carbondale, PA. She was the wife of the late Kennedy P. O'Brien, who died on February 15, 2014. Born October 14, 1928 in Passaic, NJ, she was the daughter of the late August and Marie Casagrand Rosada. She is survived by two daughters: Kimberly Benjamin and husband Robert of Eynon, PA and Lisa O'Brien of Wayne, NJ; a sister: Lorraine Sawicki of Clifton, NJ; a granddaughter: Nicole Benjamin; nieces and nephews. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to the Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA.
