Donnie Ray Butler, 73, of Harford, PA, died Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at home. He is survived by his wife the former, Kay Dawn Florance Baker. Born July 4, 1945 in Winnsboro, LA, he was the son of the late William and Ludell Sassar Butler. Donnie was a self employed accomplished author and writer, he had been previously employed as a correspondence course writer for the Syda Foundation. He is survived by three children: Shaun Butler of Los Angles, CA, Shane Butler of New York, NY and Sara Butler of New York, NY; one sister: Sue Crouch of Georgia; two step children: Walter Baker of Hallstead, PA and Tiffany Debish of Forest City, PA; two step grandchildren. Private arrangements were entrusted to the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Clifford, PA.
