Donna Evelene (Simpson) Blank, age 61, of Greenfield Township, PA., passed away Monday evening, January 29, 2007at home following a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born April 1, 1945 in Carbondale, PA., she was the daughter of the late Edward L. and Corinne (Parry) Simpson. She was a member of the Tompkinsville United Methodist Church, Tompkinsville, PA. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family, her friends, time outdoors and camping, (especially with the Boy Scouts), and her work at Lakeland School where she worked in the office for many years. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her or whose lives she touched. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to: Hospice of the Sacred Heart or Tompkinsville United Methodist Church She is survived by one daughter: Diana Blank of Greenfield Township, PA.; two sons: K. Larry Blank of Jermyn, PA. and Lonnie wife Stacey Blank of Greenfield Township, PA.; one sister: Clara Simpson of Greenfield Township, PA.; two grandchildren: Lonnie Tyler Blank and Kiralynn Blank both of Greenfield Township, PA.; Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Sisters Brothers-In-Law She was preceded in death by one brother: Edward E. Simpson The funeral was held Friday, February 2, 2007 at 10:15 AM from the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home, Dundaff Main Streets, Clifford, PA., with a service at 11:00 AM in the Tompkinsville United Methodist Church, Tompkinsville, with the Rev. Linda Bryan, pastor, officiating. Interment, Clifford Valley Cemetery, Clifford. Friends called Thursday, February 1, 2007 from 2-4 7-9 PM.
