Donald D. Wright, age 88, of South Gibson, PA. died early Thursday morning, January 20, 2005 at home following a lengthy illness. His wife was the late Agnes C. Watkins who died October 2, 2000. Born March 7, 1916 in Susquehanna, PA. He was the son of the late C. Fenno and Lillian (Mallory) Wright. He was a member of the Kingsley Community Church. He was a graduate of Susquehanna High School and was a self employed farmer for over 47 years. He enjoyed fishing and gardening and had a great passion to plant and grow flowers to give to local churches and friends. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather who will be dearly missed. Memorial Contributions can be sent to the: Kingsley Community Church or Heartland Home Healthcare and Hospice He is survived by one daughter: Gail Handrock of Crystal Lake, IL.; two sons: Larry wife Grace Wright of Uniondale, PA. and Elwin wife Judy Wright of South Gibson, PA.; 8 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren; Several Nieces Nephews He was preceded in death by two brothers: Stanley and Harlen Wright; five sisters: Lois Edwards, Helen French, Jessie Coon, Mildred and Edna The funeral was held Monday, January 24, 2005 at 3:00 pm from the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home, Dundaff Main Streets, Clifford, celebrated by Rev. James Madas, pastor of the Kingsley Community Church. Interment, Welsh Hill Cemetery, Uniondale. Friends called Monday, January 24, 2005 from 1:00 pm until service time.
