Donald J. Paiva, 85, of 80 Sterling Township, PA, died Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton. Born July 3, 1936 in New York, he was the son of the late Joseph and Margaret Viera Paiva. Prior to his retirement he had been employed as a police officer. He is survived by his wife, Susan; his children: Donald, Jr., Kevin, and Donna; a sister: Phyllis; and three grandchildren Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA.
