Diane Grabowski, 67, of Jermyn, PA, died Monday morning, November 16, 2015 at the Forest City Nursing Home, Forest City, PA. Born September 14, 1948 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Jean Kulick Grabowski. Diane was a graduate of Benjamin Franklin High School, Carbondale and enjoyed music. For many years she had resided and worked in Brooklyn, New York. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed as a quality control analyst for the Lackawanna River Basin Sewer Authority, Olyphant, PA. She is survived by a niece: Jeannie Solano of Scranton, PA. She was preceded in death by a son: Greg Grabowski; a sister: Vera Solano. As per Diane's request, no public services were held. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA.
