Dennis Johnson, born January 25, 1961, aged 65, of Factoryville, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus on July 27, 2026 after a short fight with cancer.
Those who knew Dennis knew a man constantly in motion, whether it be on horse, motorcycle, car, snowmobile, or plane. His love of adventure took him many places. In his way, he also was a teacher, coaching softball, being a 4H shooting instructor, teaching young men and women to barefoot water ski, making sure his daughters knew how to change a tire or clean a spark plug. Keeping planes safe and flying free was his life’s passion in his career as an aviation mechanic. His love for his customers and their loyalty to him at Johnson Aircraft is greatly touching to his family.
He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Leslie and Marianne Leh Johnson as well as his aunts, Barbara Johnson Bevilaqua and Lillian Leh.
He is survived by his wife, Kim Gilroy Johnson, his daughters and sons-in-law, Sarah and Keith Evans and Rachel and Jordan Faux, as well as his four grandchildren, Ezekiel and Edith Evans and Weston and Molly-Mae Faux. He is also survived by his brothers, Doug and Dave Johnson and their families as well as his aunt and uncles, Kate and Barry Kulp and Edward Leh.
Services will be held at Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 18 Airport Road, Clifford, on Saturday, August 1st. Visitation will be from 9:30-11:00 a.m. with a memorial service from 11am-12pm. The memorial service will also be available virtually on the funeral homes website. Interment will follow at the Willow View Cemetery, Clifford.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks you would consider making a donation to the Young Eagles Foundation to help the next generation of young pilot’s soar. Donations can be mailed by check to EAA Young Eagles 3000 Poberezny Road, Oshkosh, WI 54902
