Dennis John DeNike, 25, of Clifford, PA., died Sunday morning, December 5, 2011 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on State Route 374, in Clifford Township, PA. Born April 18, 1986 in Scranton, PA., he is the son of William C. DeNike, II. and Jacqueline (Race) DeNike. He was a part of the class of 2004 at Mountain View High School, Kingsley, PA. and was a member of the Clifford Baptist Church, Clifford, PA. He was employed as a partner in the family business, DeNike Plumbing and Heating of Clifford. Dennis loved working on his CRX, cooking, playing the guitar and piano as a self taught musician and spending time with his fiancee, Jessika Armetta, his dog Stitch and his nieces and nephews. Our little brother Dennis will be greatly missed and never forgotten. He is survived by eight siblings: Robin Mizerak and companion Joe Davidson, Richard DeNike and companion Julie Heilig, Wendy Hartman and husband David, Jill Tomaine and husband Mark, Chad (William) DeNike, Stephanie Blumenthal and husband David, Jennifer Robinson and husband Eric and Teddy DeNike; maternal grandparents: Jack and Katherine Race; nephews and nieces: Scott Mizerak, Zoe White, Dylan and Zachary DeNike, Ari Blumenthal, Emilia and Parker W.L. Robinson who was also his god son; aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: William and Mildred DeNike; an uncle: David Race. A memorial service was held Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 11:00 AM from the Clifford Baptist Church, Church Street, Clifford, co-officiated by Rev. Phil Schultz, interim pastor and Dennis's grandfather, Rev. Jack Race. Friends called Tuesday, December 6, 2011 from 5-8 PM at the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home Cremation Services, 18 Airport Road, Clifford.
