Della Sechrist, 69, of Factoryville, Pa., died Friday, October 28, 2011 at Regional Hospital of Scranton, Scranton, PA. She was the wife of the late Kenneth Sechrist, Sr. Born September 7, 1942 in Binghamton, NY., she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Marjorie (Neil) Williams. She is survived by two daughters: Marjorie Sechrist and Wendy Carey; two sons: Kenneth Sechrist, Jr. and Christopher Sechrist; two sisters: Lorraine Brandt and Jean Baker; two brothers: Ronald Williams and Leslie Williams; 10 grandchildren including Angel Ames with whom she resided; 18 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by one sister: Sandra Thurston; one brother: Leonard Williams, Jr. A memorial service was held Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at 11:00 AM from the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home, State Route 434, Apalachin, NY., with the Rev. Jerry Terry of Calvary Love's Assembly of God Church, officiating. Friends called Wednesday, November 2, 2011 from 10:00-11:00 AM at Coleman Daniels Funeral Home Local cremation arrangements were entrusted to the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA.
